| To create a tool, you must first select the kind of tool you wish to create from the pulldown menu. If you have questions about the various tools, please select the Teaching Ideas and Examples link on this page to see demonstrations of the available tools. Once you have selected a tool, you must enter a SITES Web server account (for instance, 'daniel'). If you do not have an account on the SITES server and would like to test or use the tools, enter 'visitor' in the account field. Next, select the Create Tool button. You will be taken to an interface page where you can configure the tool that you wish to create. More information about each tool will be avialable as you fill out the configuration pages. |

The CITE Instructional Tool Forge
- By filling out the fields in the tool forge form, you can create instructional tools to be incorporated into your course sites. Instructors with accounts on the SITES server at UNC should use their account name. To experiment or use tools as a guest, login using "visitor" as the account name.
