CITE Tool Distribution Pacakges
      Most of these tools have been designed to work with recent Web browsers. In general you can rely on them working with versions 3 or greater of Netscape's Web browsers and with versions 4 or greater of Internet Explorer browsers.
 

 

Frame-Based Discussion Forum
This tool creates a discussion forum module that uses frames to index various topics of discussion and to display messages and topic indices simultaneously. It also provides a snippet of javascript that can be used to implement the forum as a pop-up module on an existing Web page.

Peer Review Module
This tool creates a peer review module that allows instructors to select prompts to be associated with papers being reviewed. Students use the module to submit papers which are archived. Reviewers compose responses to the papers based on instructors' prompts.

Freewriting Assignment
The freewriting assignment uses instructors' prompts to generate spontaneous writing. Students use the module to compose responses to freewriting questions which are then archived for later reference and sharing.
