Below find links to video clips featuring tutorials for using information technologies. These tutorials cover some of the common information technologies including word processors, Blackboard course management tools, and Internet searching. Some of the information refers to technologies available at UNC, Chapel Hill, but much of the information can apply to uses of information technologies elsewhere. The files are large in size and in some cases the sound quality is not ideal. We will update these tutorials with additional resources and revised versions when possible.
Tutorials are available in QuickTime, AVI and RealMedia format. QuickTime and AVI video quality is best, but if you are not using a fast Internet connection, you will want to use the RealMedia format.
Most modern PCs have video players installed that will play the "avi" files. Most Macintosh computers have QuickTime player installed which will play the ".mov" files. You may need to download and install a player for the ".rm" RealMedia files. Should you need to download any of the players, use the links below.
